Profile

Professor at Tongji University and Director of PAI Research Center. He is also a professor at the Shanghai Science Center for Intelligent Autonomous Systems and Director of the Shanghai Engineering Research Center for Blockchain and Services. He previously worked at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs and Imperial College London. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of IET Blockchain and contributes to international platforms including the IEEE Blockchain Technical Community and the IEEE Global Blockchain Conference.

Selected Experience & Achievements

• Chief architect of localization and navigation systems for the China International Import Expo
• Champion of the Microsoft Indoor Localization Competition in 2016 and runner-up in 2018
• Co-author of Magnetic Communications: Theory and Techniques, published by Cambridge University Press
• Long-standing research in complex-environment localization and sensing, robust communications and trusted intelligence
